History of the Self Portrait and the Selfie

Giotto is a narrator, like Dante. Both have written in heaven the facts of the earth. Centuries and heartquakes have corroded cobalt and a fragrance of musk spreads through the cracks: it is an aroma of animals, winged angels and demons, astral bodies and herlds dispensers of holiness – the holiness is a vice of the heaven, Cioran wrote. And Francis, the most stubborn among the saints, is substance of the heaven. Although the frescoes raise his parables it seems that all happens in a still intact instant.
